Hiring Independent Contractors

Do you want to be able to see as many, or as few, clients per week to meet your professional, financial, and work/life balance needs?

Athena Counseling, LLC, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is seeking Masters/Doctorate, independently (highest level) New Mexico licensed providers to join the team. The position is for providers who wish to offer solely telehealth in New Mexico, Florida, or Washington state.

Your pay will be above market, and will be commensurate with your experience. I offer a contract that works for both of us to meet our professional needs/goals. 

This position is for a 1099 Independent Contractor; you will be required to pay your own federal, state, self employment taxes, along with carrying your own malpractice insurance. You will supply your own internet access, laptop/computer, and will be given access to a HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct your telehealth sessions, as well as access to a user friendly electronic health record platform and calendar.

The ideal candidate will be confident in his/her/their clinical skills; approach all clients with unconditional positive regard; and will have done his/her/their own work with a therapist to keep his/her/their own mental health as a priority.
