I consider it an honor to walk alongside the clients I work with in their journey to better themselves.
~ EDWARD SEES ADOLESCENTS, COUPLES, FAMILIES AND ADULTS VIA TELEHEALTH ONLY, WEEKDAYS ~
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a daily goal that I have. I look forward to the opportunity.
I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case, and each client, is unique in their own way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are: depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling.
I refer to myself as a "simple minded therapist" which means we will explore the simple ways to address the presenting concerns, because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than me expounding on theoretic approaches.

~OFFERING TELEHEALTH ONLY; AGES 18+; INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES ~
I have been a counselor for 25 years and have worked both in the US and abroad, with people from all walks of life. I am deeply experienced in helping people heal from trauma and PTSD.
I was a Military Family Life Counselor for many years and currently work with the Wounded Warrior program. Besides PTSD, my specialties include childhood abuse, including sexual abuse, depression, burnout, anxiety and marriage and couple’s issues.
My style is warm and compassionate. I believe that people can only heal when they feel safe and supported, seen and heard. I have a holistic approach that honors the mind/body connection and my advanced training in trauma allows me to provide treatment that goes beyond traditional talk therapy to create deep and lasting healing.
I live overseas and am available for tele-health sessions only, offering early morning, weekday appointments (5:00am, 6:00am, 7:00am, or 8:00am).

Rikka sees adults (age 18+) clients for individual counseling via telehealth only, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 9:00am - 2:00pm.
I graduated from the University of Louisville, with a Master of Science in Social Work and a Military Social Work Specialization, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW). In the past few years, I have worked exclusively with veterans and their families, as well as the incarcerated population, dealing with multifaceted issues. As a veteran myself, I feel that the experience offers me insight and appreciation to the complexity of issues that may stem from being a part of the military. I have also worked with first responders dealing with issues of trauma, debriefing, PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
Now, I look forward to working with adults from all backgrounds - veterans, civilians, everyone - with mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, and more. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
My style includes employing compassion and humor. I have found that each person holds within them a great insight, and that by working with the right therapist this insight can be an instrument.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, traveling, and playing with our pets.

~ ESTER SEES INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS AGED 16 - 64 VIA TELEHEALTH OR IN-PERSON AT THIS TIME ~
Since starting out in the human services field in 2004, I have worked with a wide variety of different people in different capacities (children, teenagers, adults, individuals, families, and couples) facing all different types of struggles (domestic violence, childhood abuse/neglect, sexual trauma, intergenerational traumas, addictions, grief, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and other kinds of body image issues, challenges relating to sexual orientation or gender identity, etc). Over the years, I have also sat in the “client chair” just about as long as I have sat in the “counselor chair.” All this experience has made one thing very clear to me: There’s no such thing as “crazy”…only “out of context.”
We live in a world that often makes us sick—body, brain, and mind. Many times, the things that we do to help us survive don’t make a lot of sense to those looking in at us from the outside…or even, honestly, to ourselves. However, once we examine the experiences that brought you to this point in your life, and, more importantly, the stories you tell yourself that have helped you make sense of those experiences, suddenly, the choices we make and the behaviors we engage in tend to make a lot more sense. Part of my work is helping my clients not only understand their life experiences within the contexts of those old life stories, but also to “rewrite” new ones—stories that emphasize their courage, their strengths, their power, and their resiliency. We work together on rooting out the negative beliefs that feed helplessness, hopelessness, and powerlessness, and replacing them with beliefs that create self-acceptance and compassion, hope, empowerment, and motivation for positive change.
There is nothing wrong or “crazy” about asking for help. It simply means that you’re smart enough to recognize that we can’t always heal ourselves on our own from the hurts this world has caused us. I believe that psychotherapy should work like physical therapy for your brain: the goal should be healing, rehabilitation, and regaining independence. My primary objective with each of my clients is to teach them how to create their own “inner therapist” so one day they won’t need me anymore. You are the “expert” on your own life. My job is simply to show you how you can help yourself heal, to support you as you find purpose and meaning in what has happened to you, and to assist you in discovering how you can live forward towards the future, not stuck in the past. If you feel that I might be a good fit for you, please call. Either way, I wish you much healing in your journey. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

~ OFFERING TELEHEALTH ONLY - ADULTS - INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES - WEEKDAY MID-MORING ~
I received my masters in Counseling at Southwestern College and I’m a certified Noetic Field Balancing Practitioner.
I have a heart-centered personality and genuine caring and love for people. I hold a deep appreciation for the natural world and as a lover of beauty, seek it from the inside out in the world, in myself, and in others. My approach is founded in spirituality and in the inherent wholeness of all people. Many of us are seeking a deeper experience of that wholeness, or healing from disturbances of all kinds, and I love to facilitate these processes for others.
In my own life, I developed a deepened spiritual understanding of myself and the world after my brother died suddenly when I was 19. I learned that when I turned towards this tragic, devastating, challenging situation, something unexpected happened. When I chose to not avoid my pain, I felt lifted up instead of weighed down.
I have over 15 years experience working with people in both a service and counseling capacity, ten of those years on a global basis in South America, Asia and Europe. I deeply value feminine leadership, those qualities of the feminine that are inherent in us all (man and woman) that promote creativity, collaboration, empathy, and mutuality.
I also have extensive experience working with two of the largest corporate structures in America—the US Military and healthcare corporations.
~ OFFERING TELEHEALTH ONLY; ADULTS 18+; INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES ~

My passion is working with veterans.
